I joined the Trama Textiles team from August 2021 until June 2022, for a life changing year of community and cultural preservation.

  • Formatted, Wrote, Edited, and Published the Annual Report for 2020 and 2021

  • Conducted fieldwork interviews with rural weavers in Spanish to evaluate the efficacy of the cooperative and to further develop the demographic data on the cooperative’s members

  • Newsletter publication, sponsor/donor contact for campaigns, programs, and individual fundraising projects.

  • Assisted in the planning and execution of programs for cooperative members and online audiences

  • Evaluated sustainability models and cultural heritage preservation practices, and their applications in upholding the cooperative’s mission

  • During travels for census, conducted additional interviews with cooperative members to support documentation of each regional weaving style and cultural significance of design elements.
